Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is an Accounts Receivable position specializing in the service of the members of the Jupiter Island Club, a private member owned country club located on the Treasure Coast of Florida in Hobe Sound. The position is year round/full time and is available immediately.
The Member Receivable Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of A/R processing for three companies, including but not limited to daily updating, account reconciliation, printing of member statements and collection when necessary. Duties include daily/weekly/monthly review of all sales activity throughout the Club, including cash/credit card and member charges and to update all transactions on Jonas.
The individual will track deposits, daily cash reconciliation, verify the validity of all member inquiries on their accounts, investigate any inaccuracies, reconcile member detail with aging monthly and other accounting analysis/functions.
The qualified candidate must have at least a 2 year degree with 2 years minimum experience in general bookkeeping or accounting. GAAP knowledge is required as well as proficient knowledge of Jonas, Excel and Word.
Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, work will under stressful situations while being ever professional to members and staff.
Club experience in member billing is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
