Business Office Manager - Long Term Care

Job Description

Coastal Staffing Solutions is a staffing and recruiting company that specializes in the placement of qualified medical personnel in private and public practice settings throughout Florida and the United States. Our clients run the entire spectrum in the Healthcare Industry.


We have been retained by one of the leading, Long Term Care Groups in the state of Florida, to search for a Business Office Manager for their Hobe Sound, Florida facility.


Candidate MUST have prior experience in Medicare or Medicaid billing, preferably in a long-term care setting.


Business Office Manager will have experience with the following:


oManaging critical deadlines and keen attention to detail


oKnowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and HMOs.


oKnowledge of verifying payor sources and posting payments to various systems


oThe ability to work across departments to achieve positive outcomes for residents and families


oKnowledge of state and federal nursing home guidelines.


oExperience working in a high volume long term care environment is critical


Must have superior organizational skills and excellent attention to detail


Business Office Manager Qualifications:



  1. Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  2. Must successfully complete a Level II Background screening prior to hire.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
